VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

TOTNES CAR PARKING SURVEY

Totnes Traffic and Transport Forum is conducting a survey to determine the useage and problems associated with parking in SHDC Car Parks in Totnes in the peak season; information which is urgently required to enable informed decisions to be made on Car Parking facilities and arrangements both now and in the future.

Volunteers are sought for 2 person survey teams, in 10 car parks, working 2 hour shifts ( or longer depending
on volunteer numbers ), between  9.00am and 5.00pm on:
                                    
Sat 28th August,           

Mon 30th August

Wed 1st September    

Fri 3rd September

Tues 7th September

Thurs 9th September

Free parking for the entire period of any survey day will be provided for those with vehicles ( enabling participants to combine a survey shift with a shopping/work visit ) : a briefing session will be held in Totnes at  7.00pm on Monday 23rd August at the Seven Stars Hotel, when full details of the arrangements will be finalised.  We all complain about the difficulties of parking in Totnes, now is your chance to help improve the situation.
